Position: Virtual Assistant
Location: Remote (100% Virtual)
Pay: $11 per hour
We are an up-and-coming online book publisher seeking a detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to support our daily operations.
This role involves tasks such as research, data entry, reading manuscripts, implementing marketing plans, handling email correspondence, making phone calls, assisting in the publication of new books, and taking notes during appointments.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research.
- Manage data entry tasks with precision.
- Read and summarize manuscripts.
- Communicate with authors, publisher, and distributors.
- Execute marketing strategies and prep online ads, blog posts, and social media.
- Manage emails, schedule appointments, and handle professional calls.
- Assist authors in the publishing process of new books.
- Take detailed notes during meetings.
Requirements:
- Excellent command of the English language, with strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
- Must be well-spoken and present ideas clearly.
- Proficient in using computers with a stable internet connection.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred but not required.
- Writing skills, especially in copywriting, are highly desirable.
- Basic knowledge of Photoshop is a big plus.
