COORDINATOR, COMPLIANCE AND MONITORING (STATE & FEDERAL)
QUALIFICATIONS
BS or BA degree in Education, Business, Accounting or equivalent in training and experience
Minimum two (2) years in compliance and monitoring preferred
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to identify and solve problems with openness to new ideas and procedures (flexibility)
Ability to work independently and with diverse groups of people
Ability to work under pressure to meet inflexible deadlines
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficient with various computer programs, related technology, and software
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, teachers, staff, students, and other employees

Job Goal
To manage the implementation of equitable services to private schools and monitor program requirements to ensure compliance with regulations, as well as to assure the quality of the program.
Essential Functions
Provides guidance and technical assistance to private school representatives regarding the implementation of equitable services plans
Monitors the implementation of program requirements
Develops system of accountability to ensure private school representatives meet compliance expectations and abide by rules and regulations governing Title I, II and IV Programs
Facilitates preparation and process of periodic Federal and State reporting according to deadlines and due dates
Conducts or directs periodic on-site audits to ensure continuing compliance in reference to equipment
Writes observation reports following monitoring visits
Interacts with state monitoring agencies in the interpretation of program requirements
Creates policies and procedures for program compliance
Displays proactive planning for schools and staff regarding compliance issues
Assists with special projects as requested by executive director
Performs other duties as assigned
CLASSIFICATION
Nine-month position.
Salary established by the Superintendent and School Board
Evaluation
Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy on evaluation of personnel.
