Essential Functions
Negotiate, review, and draft contracts in area of specialization including master services agreements, statements of work, SaaS agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.
Investigate legal issues or cases and provide legal advice on issues arising in area of specialization.
Maintain awareness of the latest developments in specialized area of law.
Review pending federal and state legislation, consult with and advise Farm Bureau lobbyist on impact of pending legislation.
Formulate views concerning potential legal problems or impact of recent regulatory or legislative changes.
Assist in the formation and/or licensing of new or existing subsidiaries of the company.
Prepare and present lectures and training materials on topics in specialized area of law.
File and maintain corporate holding company records and documentation.
Review and draft legal documents associated with real estate contracts.
Analyze, organize, and solve complex legal issues, factual situations, and problems under short time frames.
Read, analyze, and digest large volumes of information and data and prepare, as appropriate, legal memorandums, contracts, and/or opinions relating thereto.
