The Nurse Practitioner position requires collaboration with our physicians and other members of our medical team to provide quality healthcare for children and adults.
Scope of Responsibilities
Provides general and preventative care.
Diagnoses and treats acute conditions.
Conducts wellness exams.
Orders lab and imaging testing.
Prescribes medication.
Conducts sports physicals.
Conducts a variety of occupational medicine testing including DOT and non-DOT physicals.
Provides care to workers compensation patients.
Generates treatment plans following patient examinations.
Encourages patient care by working together with clinical staff in areas such as evaluating current practices, reviewing alternatives, and deliberating with patient care administrators.
Provides education to patients and their families on managing their conditions.
Integrate practices to enhance staff collaboration.
Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Advanced Practice Registered Nurse licensure with a concentration in Family Medicine.
Clinical and/or ER experience is preferred.
Significant complex problem-solving skills.
Exceptional ability to care for others and engage in leadership functions in areas related to healthcare.
Comfortable working independently.
DOT certification is preferred and must be maintained for all full-time NP staff.

Work Environment – operates in a clinic environment.
Physical Demands
The physical essential functions of this job include (but are not limited to) the following: Frequently exerting 10 to 20 pounds of force to move objects; occasionally exerting up to 100 pounds of force.
Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for sedentary work.
