Our work environment includes: * Modern office setting * Food provided Job Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Chief Information Officer (CIO) to join our organization.
As the CIO, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of our information technology strategy to support our business objectives.
You will lead a team of IT professionals and collaborate with other departments to ensure the effective and secure operation of our technology infrastructure.
Responsibilities: - Develop and execute the organization's overall IT strategy, aligning it with business goals and objectives - Lead and manage the IT department, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations - Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of all technology systems, networks, and applications - Ensure the security of our information systems by implementing appropriate security measures, including firewalls, encryption, and access controls - Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the IT industry, making recommendations for their adoption when appropriate - Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and develop solutions to improve efficiency and productivity - Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers - Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources - Provide leadership and guidance on intellectual property law related to technology Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; Master's degree preferred - Proven experience as a CIO or in a similar senior-level IT leadership role - Strong knowledge of HTML5, FISMA compliance, server infrastructure, firewall management, machine learning algorithms, application development methodologies, cloud development (preferably Azure) - Familiarity with intellectual property law as it relates to technology - Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines We offer competitive compensation packages commensurate with experience.
