Position is responsible checking and inspecting the condition of production equipment and machinery, ensuring its stability to support business functions and manufacturing processes.
Position is responsible for studying schematics and blueprints of system components to assemble parts and analyze its features for measurement.
Position also resolves failures to prevent recurrence of downtime that may pose risks to the production, avoiding operational delays and potential hazards within the premises.
* Ensure proper operation of all electrical/control system components including electronic components, motors, solenoids, limit switches, burner controls, and Programmable Logic Control (PLC) input/output (I/O) modules
* Participate in planning, procurement, and documentation of activities for the enhancement of electrical and instrumentation maintenance within the facility
* Review, develop and/or modify work orders for all plant equipment and enter modifications into the facility maintenance system
* Assist in the development and implementation of reliability centered maintenance strategies
* Performs operational and functional tests to determine equipment or instrument malfunctions.
* Adjusts and calibrates equipment, instruments, and other devices to specifications.
* Assembles, installs, inspects, maintains repairs, modifies, troubleshoots, and tests electrical and electronic systems and equipment.

variable speed drives, solid state boards, electronic process control devices and electronic scales
* Troubleshoot motor circuits, wire, fuses, solid state contactors, solid state overloads, electronic overloads, thermal couplers, P I D loops, understand process variables, voltage calculations, electrical blueprints etc.
* Uses programmable logic controller(s) to isolate faulty electrical/electronic equipment
* Keep all high traffic areas clean and clear of any trash, debris, tools, hoses, or other miscellaneous items (use proper cleaning procedures for oil and other lubricants leaks and spills)
* Follow and maintain all applicable standards related to Environmental Compliance.
