*Heavy Equipment Operator *
*Overview:* We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator proficient in utilizing GPS grade control systems.

Their expertise in GPS technology will ensure accurate and precise grading and excavation tasks on various construction projects.
*Responsibilities:*
* Operate heavy equipment, including bulldozers, excavators, graders, and other machinery, with proficiency and safety.
* Utilize GPS grade control systems to precisely execute grading, excavation, and site preparation tasks according to project specifications.
* Interpret engineering plans, blueprints, and survey stakes to determine proper grade and alignment requirements.
* Perform routine maintenance checks and minor repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
* Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment for oneself and team members.
* Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and contractors to coordinate tasks and ensure project deadlines are met.
* Monitor equipment operations to identify and address any potential issues or discrepancies in grade control systems.
* Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including equipment usage, materials moved, and work completed.
*Requirements:*
* Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator, preferably with a focus on GPS grade control systems.
* Proficiency in operating various heavy machinery, such as bulldozers, excavators, and graders.
* Strong understanding of GPS technology and its application in grading and excavation operations.
* Ability to interpret engineering plans, blueprints, and survey stakes to ensure precise grading and excavation.
* Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
* Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
* Must be able to pass a drug test.
