Job Title: Process Technician Responsibilities: The Process Technician performs routine maintenance to all manufacturing equipment.
The position is responsible for highly diversified duties to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment.
Experience with PLC, servos, conveyors, packaging equipment, blow mold, injection mold label applications, coding equipment and bottling is a plus.
Essential Job Duties: Oversee blow mold machinery and ensures through constant observation and routine inspections that high quality product is being produced.
Performs basic cleaning and preventative maintenance of equipment.
Detect jams or malfunctions and make adjustments as necessary.
Measure and visually inspect products for surface and dimension defects in order to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments.
Oversee blow molding machines to mold PET bottles.
Identifying and monitoring production machine parameters.
Monitoring and testing product/batch quality.
Ensuring production processes run smoothly and efficiently.
Identifying machine faults and production rate errors.
Maintaining production logbooks.
Reporting faults and breakdowns to supervisors and production engineers.
Maintaining a clean and safe production area.
Ensuring all service personal adhere to safety protocols.
Identifying areas of production that can be improved or increased.
3+ years' experience as a process technician.
Excellent analytical and observational skills.
Sound knowledge of industrial machines and mechanical processes.
Advanced report-writing skills.
Ability to work shifts and possibly nights.
Comfortable working in a noisy environment.
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED.
Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
Computer experience is required.
Forklift certification (Must complete certification within 90 days of hire) Must have 2+ years’ experience in a blow molding and manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of maintenance and troubleshooting is required.
Must have the ability to have flexible hours, and be able to supply coverage for multiple shifts when needed.
Must be able to multi-task and have good organizational skills.
Some manufacturing experience with a beverage, food, or liquid consumer products manufacturer preferred but not required Prior knowledge of GMP's, sanitation standards and FDA requirements is helpful
