Part Time weekend position available.
2 - 10 hour days, 7am-6pm 1 or 2 weekends a month to start (paid at $19 plus overtime rate).
Must pass a background check and drug screen.
Must be responsible and punctual.
Installing network cabling in a manufacturing facility.
Will train and can turn into a full time career for the right individuals.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems, including cabling, fiber splicing, and data connections
- Assist with the installation and maintenance of IT infrastructure equipment
- Operate manlifts as needed for job tasks
- Climb ladders or structures to access equipment or perform installations
Experience:
- Previous experience in low voltage systems installation or related field is a plus
- Familiarity with cabling, fiber splicing, and electrical connections is a plus
- Ability to operate a lift, forklift, and bucket truck safely and efficiently
- Electrical experience and conduit experience a plus
- Comfortable climbing ladders or structures to access equipment or perform installations
- Experience with telephone system installations and repairs is a plus
This position requires a candidate who is detail-oriented, able to work independently or as part of a team, and has strong problem-solving skills.
The ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety guidelines is essential.
